ICC seeks arrest warrants for Hamas leader Sinwar, Israeli PM Netanyahu

The International Criminal Court prosecutor Karim Khan said Monday that he had requested arrest warrants for Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on charges of war crimes.

The warrants also put Netanyahu on similar footing on the international stage as Russian President Vladimir Putin after the ICC issued an arrest warrant for Putin in March for war crimes in Ukraine.
