Rafael Nadal has reached the final of Roland-Garros for a record-breaking 14th time, after Alexander Zverev, the third seed, suffered a horrific ankle injury in their semi-final match.
Zverev, who was aiming to reach his second major final, was forced to retire from the match after rolling his ankle in the second set.
Nadal, who is now just one win away from a record-extending 22nd Grand Slam title, will face Casper Ruud in the final on Sunday.
