Whittaker Dominates in UFC Saudi Arabia Main Event
Robert Whittaker made quick work of Ikram Aliskerov in the main event of UFC Fight Night on Saturday night, knocking him out in the first round to extend his winning streak to four.
Whittaker, a former middleweight champion, was in control from the start, landing hard shots on Aliskerov and eventually dropping him with a left hook. Whittaker followed up with a flurry of punches, forcing the referee to stop the fight.
The win is Whittaker's fourth in a row since losing the middleweight title to Israel Adesanya in 2019. He is now 26-7 overall and is ranked No. 2 in the UFC's middleweight rankings.
Aliskerov, a rising contender, was making his first appearance in a UFC main event. He is now 15-2 overall.
